Atlanta Business Chronicle Recognizes United Mobile Solutions With 2014 Pacesetter Award

United Mobile Solutions to Acquire San Antonio and Austin T-Mobile Master Dealer RU Wireless

Dallas, TX – Wireless equipment distributor and servicer United Mobile Solutions (UMS), announced today that it plans to acquire RU Wireless – a T-Mobile master dealer currently serving the Austin and San Antonio markets.

RU Wireless, serving customers since 2000, will offer UMS resellers T-Mobile and other prepaid services. This additional local market expertise will embolden UMS’s ability to provide a wide product range and reliable of wholesale solution to resellers across southeast Texas.

According to UMS CEO David K. Lee, this is the first of several acquisitions expected to be announced this year.

United Mobile Solutions to Acquire SMT Repair Firm Daewon Teletech

Norcross, GA – Wireless equipment distributor and servicer United Mobile Solutions (UMS), today announced plans to acquire a surface mount and technology repair company called Daewon Teletech.

Daewon Teletech, originally headquartered in South Korea but now operating in Dallas, Texas, brings its innovative refurbishing skill set to UMS in an effort to extend UMS bandwidth and better accommodate reseller reverse logistics needs.

Since April 2003, Daewon Teletech has provided end-user repairs and reverse logistics for manufacturers from seven South Korean markets.

“We are pleased to merge Daewon Teletech specialties with our current refurbishing and technical capabilities. We look forward to offering our resellers a more robust refurbishing, logistics, after-market service process in the coming months,” said UMS CEO David K. Lee.
